1. Slicing images to use in a webpage
You can design the overall look of your wesbite in using Adobe Photoshop.
Then, using the slice tool, you can slice the page up into individual sections. Cut up your image - use the zoom and guidelines to cut accurately.
To save each section, click on "FILE" and "SAVE FOR WEB AND DEVICES ". Then double click on the first section - and give it a name. Repeat for all of your sliced parts.
Press "SHIFT" and click on each section. Press "SAVE".
You can now use each of the parts of your sliced up image in Dreamweaver to make up your webspage.
